Steve Morison
Steven William Morison (born 29 August 1983) is a Association football, football manager and former professional association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football), striker. He is the manager of National League (division), National League club Sutton United F.C., Sutton United. Morison started his career at Northampton Town F.C., Northampton Town at the age of 16, progressing through the club's youth system, centre of excellence. He made his first-team debut in 2002. Morison joined National League South, Conference South club Bishop's Stortford F.C., Bishop's Stortford for an undisclosed fee in November 2004. After just under two years playing regularly at Stortford, he signed for Stevenage F.C., Stevenage Borough for a "small four-figure fee" in August 2006. Carrow Road
Carrow Road is a association football, football stadium in Norwich, Norfolk, England, and is the home of EFL Championship club Norwich City F.C., Norwich City. The stadium is east of the city, near Norwich railway station and the River Wensum. Norwich City originally played at Newmarket Road (football ground), Newmarket Road before moving to The Nest (football ground), The Nest. When The Nest was deemed inadequate for the size of crowds it was attracting, the Carrow Road ground, named after the road on which it is located, was purpose-built by Norwich City in just 82 days and opened on 31 August 1935. The National League, officially known as Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in England. The National League is the first division of the National Leagues and step 1 of the National League System and fifth-highest tier overall in the English football league system, after the Premier League and the EFL leagues and is contested by 24 clubs. Loan (sports)
In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to a full season, sometimes persisting for multiple seasons at a time. A loan fee can be arranged by the parent club as well as them asking to pay a percentage of their wages. Association football Players may be loaned out to other clubs for several reasons. Most commonly, young prospects will be loaned to a club in a lower league in order to gain invaluable first team experience. The English Football League Championship, known simply as the Championship and for sponsorship purposes as Sky Bet Championship, is a professional association football league in England and Wales.
