Steve Hearon
John Davis, Jr. (born 1953) who boxed professionally under the ring name Steve Hearon, is an American former professional boxer and convicted serial killer. While Davis (as Hearon) never fought for a world title, he held several significant wins as a boxer, including one over future WBC world Junior Welterweight champion, Bruce Curry. Criminal record Davis was convicted of the 1976 murder of 48 year old William Brownell, a man whose body was found battered in his Wilshire district (Los Angeles) apartment. In 1977, according to police investigations, Davis was also involved in an armed robbery, for which he was convicted. He was also convicted, in 1988, of second degree robbery. Davis was also convicted for the murder of 48 year old Claude Hill. Over the years, some evidence has surfaced suggesting that all three of Davis' victims were homosexual men. Billy Bob's Texas is a country music nightclub located in the Fort Worth Stockyards, Texas, United States. It promotes itself as "The World's Largest Honky Tonk," at 100,000 square feet of interior space and nearly 20 acres of parking space. History Billy Bob Barnett, a Texas A&M University graduate and professional football player, teamed up with nightclub owner and former car salesman, Spencer Taylor. While looking for a location to fit their idea, the men decided upon an abandoned 100,000-square-foot department store that was at one time an open-air cattle barn. With some additional investors, Barnett and Taylor renovated the building's interior and exterior and opened the place to the public on April 1, 1981. Aaron Pryor (October 20, 1955 – October 9, 2016) was an American professional boxer who competed from 1976 to 1990. He was a two-time light welterweight world champion, having held the WBA title from 1980 to 1983, and the IBF title from 1984 to 1985. Additionally, he held the '' Ring'' magazine title from 1980 to 1983, and the lineal title from 1983 to 1986. In 1982, the Boxing Writers Association of America named Pryor as their Fighter of the Year. Pete Ranzany
Pete Ranzany (born April 6, 1952 Pete Ronzoni in Sacramento, California) was an amateur boxer who represented the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1973. He defeated future world welterweight champion Carlos Palomino at the 1972 Olympic Trials, but lost to eventual gold medalist Sugar Ray Seales in the finals. A conventional boxer with a solid jab and vicious left hook that Ranzany utilized to the body of his opponents, he was known to take opponents out with one single shot to the liver. His trainer, Joey Lopes—also a one-time fighter in the Sacramento region—was often criticized for protecting Ranzany, thus giving Ranzany the label of a "hometown fighter."
