Steve Dreyer
Steven William Dreyer (born November 19, 1969) is a former baseball player who was a pitcher in the Major Leagues from 1993 to 1994 for the Texas Rangers. He was acquired by the Rangers in the 8th round of the June 1990 amateur draft. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. In the numbering system used to record defensive plays, the pitcher is assigned the number 1.
