Stephen Berry (journalist)
Stephen J. Berry (born 1948) is an American investigative journalist. In 1993, while working for ''The Orlando Sentinel'', he and Jeff Brazil won the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting for a report exposing a sheriff department drug squad's unlawful seizure of millions of dollars from motorists, mostly minorities. He is now an associate professor at The University of Iowa's School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Berry is the author of a book about investigative journalism entitled ''Watchdog Journalism: The Art of Investigative Reporting''. Education Berry obtained his BA in political science from the University of Montevallo. In 1984, he received his MA in American history from the University of Northern Carolina Greensboro. Stephen Berry (born 14 February 1983) is a perennial candidate in New Zealand national and local politics, running on right-wing positions. Biography Berry calls himself a "Manurewa native". He attended St. Annes Primary School. He then attended Manurewa Intermediate and spent year 9 and 10 at James Cook High School, where he played cricket for Weymouth. He ran as an independent candidate in the 2002 Mount Roskill general election and the 2011 Tāmaki general election. He served as spokesman of minor political party Libertarianz, running for Libertarianz in the 2004 Auckland City mayoral election. He also ran in the 2013 Auckland mayoral election for right-wing group Affordable Auckland, coming third with 13,650 votes. Steve Berry (born September 2, 1955) is an American author and former attorney currently living in St. Augustine, Florida. He is a graduate of Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law. He was a trial lawyer for 30 years and held elected office for 14 of those years. Stephen Andrew Berry (born 4 April 1963) is an English former professional footballer who played in the Football League for Portsmouth, Aldershot, Sunderland, Newport County, Swindon Town and Northampton Town, in the German second division for Darmstadt, and in the Hong Kong First Division League for Instant-Dict. Career Berry (nicknamed "Chuck") was born in Liverpool, and played for Gosport Borough before beginning his professional career with Portsmouth. He made his League debut at the age of 18, on 29 August 1981 in the starting eleven for the Third Division home draw with Lincoln City.
