Steve Arndt
Steven Arndt (born April 28, 1954) is a former Republican representative for the 89th district of the Ohio House of Representatives. Arndt has run for various public offices since the 1970s. When Steve Kraus was convicted of a felony and forced to resign from office, Arndt was selected by the Ohio House Republican Caucus to replace him. He took office on September 30, 2015. Subsequently, Arndt was reelected in 2016. Ohio House Of Representatives
The Ohio House of Representatives is the lower house of the Ohio General Assembly, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Ohio; the other house of the bicameral legislature being the Ohio Senate. The House of Representatives first met in Chillicothe on March 3, 1803, under the later superseded state constitution of that year. In 1816, the capital was moved to Columbus, where it is located today. Members are limited to four successive two-year elected terms (terms are considered successive if they are separated by less than four years). Time served by appointment to fill out another representative's uncompleted term does not count against the term limit. There are 99 members in the house, elected from single-member districts. He attended the Community College of the Air Force of Air University before receiving his bachelor's in engineering from Troy University. Port Clinton, Ohio
Port Clinton is a city in and the county seat of Ottawa County, located at the mouth of the Portage River on Lake Erie, about 44 miles east of Toledo. The population was 6,056 at the 2010 census. The city has been nicknamed the "Walleye Capital of the World", due to the productive fishing waters for the species lying offshore in Lake Erie's Western Basin. The annual Walleye Drop on New Year's Eve in downtown Port Clinton reflects this nickname. History Residents established the community in 1828 on the shores of the Portage River and Lake Erie. Fred Strahorn
Frederick W. Strahorn (born March 20, 1965) is an American Democratic politician who served in the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 39th District, which consists of much of Dayton, Ohio. He served as the Minority Leader for the 131st Ohio General Assembly and 132nd Ohio General Assembly. Life and career Strahorn served as a member of the Wright State University Board of Trustees, a position that ended in 2013. He attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and graduated with a B.A. in aviation management from Ohio State University. He also attended Sinclair Community College for real estate coursework.
