Steve Alatorre
Steven Michael Alatorre (born September 3, 1959) is a former Canadian football quarterback who played for the Montreal Concordes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Early years Alatorre attended and played high school football at Cypress High School. College career Alatorre played college football at Cypress College from 1977–1979 before transferring to Tennessee, where he was the starting quarterback during part of the 1980 season and the 1981 season. During his two years at Tennessee, he completed 139 of 273 passes for 1,918 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions under head coach Johnny Majors. He led the Volunteers to a 28–21 win over Wisconsin in the 1981 Garden State Bowl, completing 24 of 42 passes for 315 yards and a touchdown, and winning the game's MVP honors. A touchdown (abbreviated as TD) is a scoring play in gridiron football. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone. Luc Tousignant
Luc Tousignant (; born July 4, 1958) is a former quarterback in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and Olympic handball player. He competed in three matches at the 1976 Summer Olympics with the Canadian handball team, which finished eleventh in the Olympic tournament. Tousignant attended Fairmont State University from 1978 to 1981, and played in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. He was a second-team All-America honouree, the WVIAC's offensive player of the year, and a first-team all-league selection in 1981, when he led the Falcons to the conference title, a 9-2 overall record, and a berth in the NAIA Playoffs. His 4,737 passing yards and 30 career touchdown passes were school records which stood for 14 years. He was drafted in the 1982 NFL Draft by the NFL's Buffalo Bills in the eighth round, 218th overall. He chose not to sign with the Bills, and instead joined the CFL.
