Stephen Fowler Wilson
Stephen Fowler Wilson (September 4, 1821 – March 30, 1897) was an American lawyer, politician and judge from Pennsylvania who served as a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Pennsylvania's 18th congressional district from 1865 to 1869. He also served as a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate for the 1st district from 1863 to 1865. Early life and education Wilson was born in Columbia Township, Pennsylvania the youngest of seven children born to George and Jane Wilson. He studied law under the Honorable James Lowrey and in 1845 was admitted to the Tioga County bar. He practiced law for almost 25 years. He was originally a Democrat but switched to a Republican when that party was founded. He held several local offices. Stephen John Wilson
Stephen John Wilson (born 27 April 1948) is a former Australian politician from Tasmania, serving as an independent member of the Tasmanian Legislative Council from 1981-1999 (18 years). Wilson entered politics on 23 May 1981 when he was elected to the southern based seat of Monmouth in the Tasmanian Legislative Council. He was re-elected a further two times to the seat, in 1987 and 1993. During the 1998 Legislative Council electoral boundaries redistribution, the seat of Monmouth was abolished and Stephen Wilson was allocated as the inaugural member for the Electoral division of Rumney. Stephen Raymond Wilson, OAM (born 28 December 1971) is an Australian Paralympic athlete. Personal Wilson was born in Sydney on 28 December 1971. In 1986, while he was a student at Newington College (1984–1987), Wilson was hit by a truck and doctors were forced to amputate his right leg just below the knee. He is married and has five children. He was a physical education teacher, was the principal of Dalby Christian College and is currently the principal of Livingstone Christian College. Competitive career Wilson took up competitive running in 1997; in that year he competed at his first national competition and received the Developing Paralympian of the Year Award. At the 2000 Sydney Paralympics, he won two gold medals in the Men's 4x100 m Relay T46 and Men's 4x400 m Relay T46 events, for which he received a Medal of the Order of Australia. He is the founder, guitarist, lead vocalist and songwriter of the rock band Porcupine Tree, as well as being a member of several other bands, including Blackfield, Storm Corrosion and No-Man. He is also a solo artist, having released 6 solo albums since his solo debut ''Insurgentes'' in 2008.
