Stephen Weigh
Stephen Weigh (born 28 February 1987) is an Australian former professional basketball player who spent 10 seasons in the National Basketball League (Australia), National Basketball League (NBL). He started his NBL career in 2008 after a two-year college stint at Utah Utes men's basketball, Utah. He won his only NBL Championship in 2010 with the Wildcats before joining the Adelaide 36ers in 2011. After two seasons with the 36ers, Weigh returned to his home state of Queensland and played out his final five seasons with the Cairns Taipans. In addition to his NBL career, Weigh was a consistent presence in the Australian state leagues. He played four seasons with his hometown Rockhampton Rockets and won Queensland Basketball League, QBL Championships with them in 2008 and 2013. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center. Shawn Redhage
Shawn Michael Redhage (born 21 January 1981) is an American-Australian former professional basketball player who is most known for his 12 seasons played with the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League (NBL). He played four years of college basketball for the Arizona State Sun Devils before moving to Australia in 2004 to play professionally. After spending time in the SEABL and with the New Zealand Breakers, Redhage joined the Wildcats in 2005 and went on to become one of the franchise's all-time great players. With the Wildcats, Redhage won four NBL championships (2010, 2014, 2016, 2017) while featuring in seven All-NBL teams (2006–2011, 2013) and winning Club MVP six times. Paul Rogers (basketball)
Paul Andrew Rogers (born 29 September 1973) is an Australian former professional basketball player most known for his 12 seasons in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). After playing college basketball in the United States for Gonzaga, he was drafted in the 1997 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers but never played an NBA game. In 2000, he was named NBL MVP and helped the Perth Wildcats win the NBL championship. He won his second NBL championship, also with the Wildcats, in 2010. Brisbane Bullets
The Brisbane Bullets are an Australian professional men's basketball team in the National Basketball League (Australia), National Basketball League (NBL) based in Brisbane, Brisbane, Queensland. They competed from 1979 to 2008, and returned to the league in 2016. Martin Clarke (born 22 May 1967) is an Australian former professional basketball player and coach. He is the former head coach of the National Basketball League's Adelaide 36ers and was an assistant coach of the Australian Boomers at the 2012 London Olympics. In 2018, Clarke was hired as the director of the NBA Global Academy at the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence in Canberra.
