Stephen Reynoldson
Steve Reynoldson (born 6 September 1962) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong and the Brisbane Bears in the Victorian/Australian Football League (VFL/AFL). Reynoldson, recruited from Strathmerton, was a centre half-forward who kicked 23 goals for Geelong in 1981. He played well in their qualifying final win over Collingwood that season with 17 disposals, eight marks and two goals. After six years at Geelong, Reynoldson joined the Brisbane Bears for their first league season in 1987. He was appointed deputy vice-captain and was used as a centre half-back by the Bears. He played in the first 18 rounds for the Bears in their inaugural season and was their second best performers in the Brownlow Medal with eight votes. The Strathmerton Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Bulldogs'', is an Australian rules football and netball club that was established in 1894 and has been affiliated with the Picola & District Football League since 1994. Brisbane Bears
The Brisbane Football Club, nicknamed the Bears, was a professional Australian rules football club based in Queensland on the Gold Coast (relocated to Brisbane in 1993). The club participated in the Victorian/Australian Football League (VFL/AFL) between 1987 and 1996, and entered the league as the first of two non-Victorian expansion teams. It was the first privately owned club in the league's history. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Points are scored by kicking the oval ball between the central goal posts (worth six points), or between a central and outer post (worth one point, otherwise known as a "behind"). In Australian rules football, the centre half-forward is a position on the half-forward line of a football field. The directly opposing player is a centre half-back. Mark Mickan
Mark James Mickan (born 30 January 1961) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Brisbane Bears and Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Mickan began his senior career with South Australian National Football League (SANFL) club in 1981 and finished back at West Adelaide in 1994. All-Australian team selection in 1988 marked the pinnacle of his playing career. He has a sister, Patricia Mickan, who was a basketballer. He coached SANFL club Woodville-West Torrens in 1998 and 1999, Glenelg for five and half years from 2006 to June 2011, and West Adelaide from 2014 to 2017.
