Stephen Reaves
Stephen Reaves (born December 5, 1984) is a former professional Canadian football quarterback. He was signed by the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League as a street free agent in 2009 but was released at the end of training camp. He was re-signed to the practice roster on June 27, 2009. He played college football for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles and the Michigan State Spartans. College career Freshman season Reaves start his career as a redshirt freshman at Michigan State. In the 2003 season Reaves did not play a down and learn from starting quarterback Jeff Smoker. Sophomore season Reaves played his first game against Central Michigan in the second game season. He played in four games in the 2004 season. It end up being his last year at Michigan State due to driving while under the influence of alcohol. Michigan State University took away his scholarship. The Michigan State Spartans football program represents Michigan State University (MSU) in college football at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level. The UT Martin Skyhawks football program is the intercollegiate American football team for the University of Tennessee at Martin in Martin, Tennessee. The team competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and are members of the Ohio Valley Conference. The 2007 GMAC Bowl was an American college football bowl game. It was part of the 2006 NCAA Division I FBS football season and was the ninth edition of the bowl game. It was played on January 7, 2007 and featured the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, and the Ohio Bobcats. Tory Harrison started the scoring, by rushing 43 yards for a touchdown, to give Southern Miss the first points of the game, 7–0. Damion Fletcher later scored on a e yard touchdown run giving the Eagles a 14–0 lead. With 1:13 left in the half James Denley intercepted an Ohio pass, and returned it 18 yards for another Southern Miss touchdown. The halftime score had Southern Miss up 21–0 over Ohio. In the third quarter, Fletcher scored on a 9-yard touchdown run to increase the lead to 28–0. Austen Everson threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Thomas Christy for Ohio, to make the score 28–7.
