Stephen London
Stephen London is the eleventh and current bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Edmonton, having been elected in 2021. Life and career London was born in 1973 in McKinney, Texas in the United States. He earned a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Miami University and a Master of Divinity from Yale University Divinity School. London was ordained as a deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut by Andrew Smith on June 21, 2003. In 2004 he moved to Canada, and on March 21, 2004, was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Edmonton by Victoria Matthews. He served as rector of St. Michael and All Angels in Edmonton from 2004 to 2012, and as rector of St. Thomas in Sherwood Park from 2012 to 2021. Anglican Diocese Of Edmonton
The Diocese of Edmonton is a diocese of the Ecclesiastical Province of Rupert's Land of the Anglican Church of Canada. The diocese comprises over 126,000 square kilometres of the civil Province of Alberta, consisting of a band across the central part of the province, extending to the borders of the adjacent provinces of British Columbia to the west and Saskatchewan to the east. Beaumont ( ) is a city in Leduc County within the Edmonton Metropolitan Region of Alberta, Canada. It is located at the intersection of Highway 625 and Highway 814, adjacent to the City of Edmonton and northeast of the City of Leduc. Mark MacDonald (bishop)
Mark Lawrence MacDonald (born 15 January 1954) is a former Anglican bishop in the United States and Canada. From 2007 to 2022, he served as the National Indigenous Anglican Bishop ( Archbishop, from 2019) for the Anglican Church of Canada; as such, he had pastoral oversight over all indigenous Canadian Anglicans. In April 2022, he resigned and relinquished his ministry following acknowledged sexual misconduct. Linda Nicholls
Linda Carol Nicholls (born 1954) is a Canadian Anglican bishop who has served as Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada since 2019. She was previously Bishop of Huron from 2016 to 2019 and a suffragan bishop in the Anglican Diocese of Toronto from 2008 to 2016. She is the first woman to head the Anglican Church of Canada and the second female primate in the Anglican Communion. Andrew Donnan Smith (born 1944) was a suffragan bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut from 1996 to 1999, and diocesan bishop from 1999 to 2010. Biography Smith was born in Albany, New York in 1944, and was educated at the public schools in North Plainfield, New Jersey. In 1965 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity College, Connecticut then earned his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from Episcopal Theological School in 1968. He was ordained to the diaconate on June 11, 1968, to the priesthood on March 22, 1969. He has served as curate of Trinity Church in Hartford from 1968 till 1971.
