Stephen James King
Stephen James King (born 13 August 1983) is an Australian TV and stage actor. Life and career A graduate of the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, Sydney. King leapt into the public eye on serial ''Home and Away'' in the regular role as Edward Dunglass in 1999. He then guest starred on the popular Sci-Fi series ''Farscape'' in 2004, and then performed on stage with the Sydney Theatre Company and Belvoir Street Theatre as a teenager. At the age of 20, King was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. Since graduating in 2008, he has appeared on stage at the New York Shakespeare Festival AKA Shakespeare in the Park with Sam Waterston, Lauren Ambrose and Michael Stuhlbarg, New York Theatre Workshop with Tim Robbins and at the Tony Award winning McCarter Theater, Princeton. The Juilliard School ( ) is a private performing arts conservatory in New York City. Established in 1905, the school trains about 850 undergraduate and graduate students in dance, drama, and music. McCarter Theater
McCarter Theatre Center is a not-for-profit, professional company on the campus of Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. The institution is currently led by Artistic Director Sarah Rasmussen and Managing Director Michael S. Rosenberg. Life On Mars (American TV Series)
''Life on Mars'' is an American version of a UK science fiction crime drama television series which originally aired on ABC from October 9, 2008 to April 1, 2009. It is an adaptation of the BAFTA-winning original British series of the same title produced by the BBC. The series was co-produced by Kudos Film and Television, 20th Television, and ABC Signature. The series tells the story of New York City police detective Sam Tyler (played by Jason O'Mara), who, after being struck by a car in 2008, regains consciousness in 1973. Fringing between multiple genres, including thriller, science fiction and police procedural, the series remained ambiguous regarding its central plot, with the character himself unsure about his situation. The Peacekeeper Wars
''Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars'' is a military science fiction miniseries written by Rockne S. O'Bannon and David Kemper and directed by Brian Henson. Following the original series' cancellation in September 2002, it aimed to wrap up the cliffhanger and tie up some elements of the series in general. It was broadcast on 17 and 18 October 2004. Henson and others have attributed the return of ''Farscape'' to the ongoing campaign of fans. Production began in December 2003. In May 2004 the Sci-Fi Channel, now owned by NBC Universal, announced that it would run a two-episode conclusion titled ''Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars''. Henson refers to the three hours as episodes 4.23–4.26, though the New South Wales Film Office refers to the production as a "2 × 2 hour telemovie" (including commercials).
