Stephan Leblanc (born January 20, 1986) is a former Canadian professional lacrosse player having played for the Toronto Rock, New England Black Wolves, Halifax Thunderbirds and Georgia Swarm in the National Lacrosse League The National Lacrosse League (NLL) is a men's professional box lacrosse league in North America. Toronto Rock
The Toronto Rock are a professional box lacrosse franchise based in Hamilton, Ontario, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. They are members of the North Division of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The team was the first Canadian franchise in the NLL. Oakville, Ontario, Oakville resident Jamie Dawick is the current owner of the Rock, purchasing the team after the 2009 season. Since 2014, Dawick has also served as their general manager. The Rock play their home games at FirstOntario Centre which they currently share with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the Ontario Hockey League, OHL. The franchise was founded in 1998 as the Ontario Raiders in Hamilton. Curtis Dickson
Curtis Dickson (born July 18, 1988) is a Canadian professional lacrosse player who currently plays for the San Diego Seals of the National Lacrosse League. Prior to signing with the Seals in August 2022, he played 11 seasons with the Calgary Roughnecks. He has also played for the Chaos Lacrosse Club in the Premier Lacrosse League and Denver Outlaws and New York Lizards in the MLL. He was a two-time All-American lacrosse player at University of Delaware from 2007 to 2010, where he served as captain of the 2010 NCAA Tournament Blue Hens team and was a member of the only Final Four team in school history. Lacrosse is a team sport played with a lacrosse stick and a lacrosse ball. It is the oldest organized sport in North America, with its origins with the indigenous people of North America as early as the 12th century. The game was extensively modified by European colonists, reducing the violence, to create its current collegiate and professional form. Players use the head of the lacrosse stick to carry, pass, catch, and shoot the ball into the goal.
