Step By Step (Chisato Moritaka Album)
is the ninth studio album by the Japanese singer/songwriter Chisato Moritaka, released on July 25, 1994. This was Moritaka's first album under One Up Music. The album includes the song " Kaze ni Fukarete", which became her first No. 1 hit on the Oricon singles chart. ''Step by Step'' is Moritaka's first album in to include a cover version of a Beatles song. A limited edition release included a 32-page photo book. Before the album's release, Moritaka was forced to stop touring after she suffered a temporomandibular joint dysfunction in spring 1994. She did not tour or release another studio album until 1996. The album reached No. 3 on Oricon's albums chart and sold over 573,000 copies. Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD, TMJD) is an umbrella term covering pain and dysfunction of the muscles of mastication (the muscles that move the jaw) and the temporomandibular joints (the joints which connect the mandible to the skull). Sitar
The sitar ( or ; ) is a plucked stringed instrument, originating from the Indian subcontinent, used in Hindustani classical music. The instrument was invented in medieval India, flourished in the 18th century, and arrived at its present form in 19th-century India. Khusrau Khan, an 18th century figure of Mughal Empire has been identified by modern scholarship as the originator of Sitar. According to most historians he developed sitar from setar, an Iranian instrument of Abbasid or Safavid origin. Another view supported by a minority of scholars is that Khusrau Khan developed it from ''Veena''. is the 40th single by Japanese singer/songwriter Chisato Moritaka. Written by Moritaka and Hideo Saitō, the single was released by zetima on October 1, 1999. It is a re-recording of the song from Moritaka's 1994 album '' Step by Step''. The song was Moritaka's final single before her retirement following her marriage to actor Yōsuke Eguchi and her pregnancy at the end of 1999. Chart performance "Ichido Asobi ni Kite yo '99" peaked at No. 60 on Oricon's singles chart and sold 7,000 copies, making it Moritaka's lowest selling single. Hideo Saitō (musician, Born 1958)
, is a Japanese musician and composer, best known for his collaborations with Chisato Moritaka from 1987 to 1995. He is also the producer of the musical cat group Musashi's. Career After graduating from Keio University, Saitō formed the band "You" in 1980 before pursuing a career as a music producer. Since his work on Chisato Moritaka's debut album '' New Season'', he has composed more than 60 songs for her. He has also played guitar in over 1,000 recordings for different artists. In 1993, Saitō became the first Japanese composer to release songs in South Korea. Saitō served as a judge in the NTV talent show from 2005 to 2010. There, he discovered Koji Higashino on the March 3, 2010 episode. In June 2010, Saitō joined keyboardist Minoru Mukaiya and vocalist Keizo Nakanishi in the band as guitarist and producer. was a Japanese musician and record producer from Hitachi, Ibaraki. His younger brother is Hideki Kurosawa, who is also a musician. Biography In a contest participating in an amateur band during his school days, a special prize was given from Tetsuya Komuro (later became LR's "(I Wanna) Be With You"). That song began as an opportunity, and later debuted as a composer at the age of nineteen. He provided songs to Yoko Minamino and Nami Shimada.
