Nagle Catholic College commonly known as Nagle or NCC, is an independent Roman Catholic co-educational secondary day school, located in the coastal town of Geraldton in the Mid West region of Western Australia, Australia. The college was founded in 1994, as a result of a merger of Stella Maris Presentation College, established in 1891 and St. Patrick's College founded in 1926. Overview Nagle Catholic College is named after the Presentation Sisters founder, The Venerable Nano Nagle. Formerly a boarding college, Nagle is now a day school catering for students from Year 7 to Year 12. The current college's campus is located on the Stella Maris Presentation College site, which today has grown to a college catering to 1,200 students. Chanel College (Gladstone)
Chanel College is a Catholic co-educational Secondary College in Gladstone, Queensland, Australia. Founded in 1966 by the Sisters of Mercy, the school was originally located at Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School, but moved to 11 Paterson Street as Stella Maris College. The girls were educated at Stella Maris College and the boys at Chanel College, commenced by the Marist Brothers in 1968. Sister Bernadette continued to head Stella Maris and was resident principal of the girls' school, while Brother Austin Tanzer was the principal of Chanel. It was not until a later date, around 1976, that Stella Maris/Chanel College became a fully co-educational school with Brother John as Principal. At this time, it only educated students to Year 10; the year of completion of the Junior Certificate. Students then went on to attend the Gladstone State High School to complete Senior studies. Stella Maris College is an institution of higher education for women in Chennai, India. It is an autonomous college affiliated to the University of Madras and is partly residential. The college, which is under the direction of the Society of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, is a minority institution. It has five hostels – Snehalaya, Our Lady's, Klemens, St. Josephs and Nava Nirmana.
