Badea Stelian (born 29 July 1958), widely known as Stelică Badea, is a retired Romanian football midfielder. Biography He was born in Bucşani and his first steps in football were under the guidance of coach Stere Popescu. He debuted at I.O.R. Bucharest and at twenty years he joined FC Olt Scorniceşti. Sandu Stelian Burcea (born 7 October 1983) is a Romanian rugby union player. He plays as a lock, flanker and number eight. Burcea is a player and the captain for RC Timişoara in the Romanian Rugby Championship. He won the National Championship titles in 2011/12 and 2012/13. He is also player and captain for București Wolves, a team made from the best players at the Romanian Rugby Championship that competes at the European Challenge Cup. He has 44 caps for Romania, since 2006, with 4 tries scored, 20 points on aggregate. Burcea first cap came at the 14-62 loss to France, in Bucharest, in a friendly game, at 17 June 2006, when he was 22 years old. Stelian Moculescu (born 6 May 1950, in Brașov) is a Romanian volleyball coach and former player. From 1987 to 1990 and from 1999 to 2008 he was also the coach of the Germany men's national volleyball team and the Romania men's national volleyball team. He is widely considered one of the greatest coaches in the history of this sport and a living legend. Stelian Popescu (February 18, 1874 in Lacu Turcului, Prahova County – 8 March 1954 in Madrid, Spain) was a nationalist Romanian journalist. Biography He was elected to Parliament many times. He was Minister of Justice in the Ionescu cabinet (December 17, 1921 – January 19, 1922), the Știrbey cabinet (June 4 – 20, 1927), the Seventh Ion I. C. Brătianu cabinet (June 22 – November 24, 1927) and the Vintilă I. C. Brătianu cabinet (November 24, 1927 – November 9, 1928). Popescu ran the Universul newspaper from 1915 to 1945, transforming it into one of the most readable newspapers of the interwar period. Being a right-wing journalist, the newspaper remained influenced by this ideas, which attracted many adversities, especially from the social-democratic or socialist newspapers, such as the newspaper Adevărul. Stelian Stancu (born 22 September 1981) is a Romanian former footballer who played as a right back or right midfielder for teams such as Sportul Studențesc, Steaua București, FC Timișoara, Khazar Lankaran or Academica Clinceni, among others. Club career Stancu made his debut playing for Astra Ploiești in 2000, before being loaned to Metalul Plopeni and joining the squad of Sportul Studențesc of Bucharest in 2002. After Sportul was relegated, he joined Steaua București on 31 August 2006, where he appeared in 17 league matches. Stelian Tănase (born February 17, 1952) is a Romanian writer, journalist, political analyst, and talk show host. Tănase was from November 2013 to October 2015 the president of TVR. Having briefly engaged in politics during the early 1990s, after the fall of the Communist regime, he has remained a leading figure of the Romanian civil society. Stelian Tănase founded '' 22'' magazine in January 1990 and was its first editor-in-chief. A founding member of both the Group for Social Dialogue and the Civic Alliance, Stelian Tănase was the latter's vice-president between 1991 and 1993.
