Benjamin Jeffrey Steinbauer (born July 28, 1977) is an American director, writer and producer, who is best known for directing the feature documentary ''Winnebago Man'' (2009). Steinbauer has directed other documentaries, including ''Chop & Steele'' (2022), which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, ''Brute Force (2012)'' and ''Heroes From The Storm (2017)'', as well as episodic television for the PBS show ''Stories of the Mind'' and the CBS show ''Pink Collar Crimes.'' Life and career Steinbauer graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in Edmond, Oklahoma, in 1995 and earned a B.A. in Theatre and Film from The University of Kansas in 2001, where he sits on the Professional Advisory Board of K.U. Film. Anja Steinbauer
Anja Steinbauer (born 1966) is a London-based Sinologist and philosopher. She was born in Mainz, Germany. She is notable as one of the pioneers of the popular philosophy movement, and is the president of Philosophy For All in London. She is also one of the editors of the popularizing magazine '' Philosophy Now''. Much of Steinbauer's scholarly work has related to the Chinese New Confucian philosopher Tang Junyi. This formed the basis for her PhD, which she took at Hamburg University. For some years Steinbauer taught philosophy as part of the adult education department at Birkbeck College in London. Jodi Appelbaum-Steinbauer (born April 7, 1956) is an American former professional tennis player. She was a USTA national collegiate doubles champion in 1977, won a bronze medal in singles and a silver medal in doubles for the United States at the 1977 Maccabiah Games in Israel. She played collegiate tennis for the Miami Hurricanes at the University of Miami, where she was inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame. Biography Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Appelbaum-Steinbauer earned All-American honors in each of her four years of varsity tennis for the Miami Hurricanes at the University of Miami, and was the USTA national collegiate doubles champion with Terry Salganik in 1977. Walter Steinbauer
Walter Steinbauer (20 January 1945 in Dissen am Teutoburger Wald – 28 May 1991) was a West German bobsledder who competed from the late 1960s to the mid-1970s. He won a bronze medal in the four-man event at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo.
