Stefano Celozzi
Stefano Celozzi (born 2 November 1988) is a German former professional footballer who played as a right-back. Having represented Germany at youth level, he is of Italian descent. Club career Youth After playing youth football with a succession of local clubs, including SSV Ulm 1846, Celozzi joined the youth setup of Bayern Munich in 2005. He quickly progressed to the reserve team, making his debut in the Regionalliga in August 2005, aged just 16. Over the next three seasons, Celozzi played 81 games at this level, scoring three times. He was named as part of the first-team squad for the 2007–08 season, but did not make an appearance, continuing to be a regular for the reserves. Bayern Munich Junior Team
The FC Bayern Munich Junior Team is the youth academy for German football club FC Bayern Munich. The Junior Team was created in 1902 and restructured in 1995. It has educated many players who have become regulars in the Bundesliga and Germany. The vision for the Junior Team is "''to educate young players so that it will be possible for FCB to keep a global position in club football in the next millennium''" and its mission is "''to have the best youth development in club football.''" It was contested in two geographical divisions with eighteen teams in the south and nineteen in the north. The champions, Rot Weiss Ahlen and FSV Frankfurt, and the runners-up, Rot-Weiß Oberhausen and FC Ingolstadt 04, of every division were promoted to the 2. Bundesliga. With the introduction of the 3. Liga for the 2008–09 season, 2007–08 was the final season of the Regionalliga as the third tier of German football. Qualification for the new league was determined through this 2007–08 season's 2. Regionalliga Süd (1994–2012)
The Regionalliga Süd ( en, Regional League South) was the fourth tier of the German football league system from 2008 to 2012. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008, it was the third tier. It was the highest regional league for the southern part of Germany. It covered the states of Bavaria, Hesse and Baden-Württemberg and was one of three leagues at this level, together with the Regionalliga Nord and the Regionalliga West. The DFB-Pokal ( is a German knockout football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). Sixty-four teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga. It is considered the second-most important club title in German football after the Bundesliga championship. Taking place from August until May, the winner qualifies for the DFL-Supercup and the UEFA Europa League unless the winner already qualifies for the UEFA Champions League in the Bundesliga.
