Stefania Strumillo (born 14 October 1989) is an Italian athlete specialising in the discus throw. Biography She won the bronze medal at the 2015 Summer Universiade. Her personal best in the event is 59.80 metres set in Amsterdam in 2016. The Italian Athletics Championships ( it, Campionati italiani assoluti di atletica leggera) are the national championships in athletics, organised every year by the Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera. The first edition, four races only, was held in 1906 at Arena Civica in Milan, just after the foundation of the Federazione Podistica Italiana and with the organization of ''La Gazzetta dello Sport''. Since then, 110 editions were held with the only exceptions of the years 1915-1918 and 1944. During 1945, only athletes of Northern Italy could participate but FIDAL considered this edition as an official one. To the running races, in 1913 the field events were added. Records Schedule Results Qualification Qualification: 62.50 m (Q) or best 12 performers (q) Final The final was started on 8 June at 21:37. The results were revised after it was determined that the third attempt of Vanessa Kamga was incorrectly recorded as it would have been "closer to 60m than the distance recorded". Had it been recorded correctly, Kamga would not have been in the top eight after the first three rounds and would not have qualified for the final three attempts. Thus, her fourth, fifth, and sixth throws were annulled and her original fifth place was changed to a ninth place. 2024 European Athletics Championships
The 26th European Athletics Championships will be held from 7 to 12 June 2024 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy. It will be the third time Italy has staged this sporting the event after the inaugural 1934 edition in Turin, for men only, and the 1974 edition at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Thus, the city and the venue will host the event for the second time after 50 years. Stadio Olimpico staged also the 1960 Olympic Games and 1987 World Championships in Athletics. The venue was renovated in 1990 and holds up to 70,000 spectators. On 10 November 2020, the European Athletic Association (EAA) chose Rome at its 160th Council Meeting held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Oran ( ar, وَهران, Wahrān) is a major coastal city located in the north-west of Algeria.
