Stefan Rusconi
Stefan Rusconi (born 14 February 1979) is a Swiss pianist and composer. Work Since 2004, along with Fabian Gisler (bass) and Claudio Strüby (drums), Rusconi is playing with his band Rusconi across the world. So far, they release six records on indie and major labels such as ''Bee Jazz'' Records and Sony Music Entertainment. Since 2012, they are running their own boutique label Qilin Records on which they release their music and the music of other musician friends. In 2011, Rusconi composed the music for the film documentary ''Tinguely'' directed by Thomas Thümena. Also in 2011, together with pianist und producer Ephrem Lüchinger, Rusconi founded the experimental electronica duo Whistler & Hustler, which released the album ''The Whistler & Hustler Session'' via Qilin Records in 2013. Pipilotti Elisabeth Rist (born 21 June 1962) is a Swiss visual artist best known for creating experimental video art and installation art. Her work is often described as surreal, intimate, abstract art, having a preoccupation with the female body. Her artwork is often categorized as feminist art. Rist's work is known for its multi-sensory qualities, with overlapping projected imagery that is highly saturated with color, paired with sound components that are part of a larger environment with spaces for viewers to rest or lounge. Echo Jazz
The Echo Jazz (stylized as ECHO JAZZ) was a German music prize, an Echo Music Prize for personalities and production of jazz. It was awarded annually by the between 2010 and 2018. The awards had been given in 30 categories, including ensemble of the year, male and female singer of the year, record label, and lifetime achievement. In 2012, the criteria for entry included album release date and "two outstanding reviews from music journalists." Conductor Claus Ogermann was given the ECHO Jazz Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. ARTE Quartett
The ARTE Quartett was founded in 1995 by the saxophonists Beat Hofstetter, Sascha Armbruster, Andrea Formenti and Beat Kappeler. Their musical style consists of contemporary music, jazz, and free improvisation. The four musicians have commissioned many works, often working collaboratively with a composer in developing a composition. Dieter Meier (born 4 March 1945) is a Swiss industrialist, musician and conceptual artist. He is the frontman of the electronic music group Yello, which was co-founded (with ex-member Carlos Perón) by music producer Boris Blank.
