Stefan Borsch
Stefan Henrik Borsch (born 19 January 1947) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and musician. At first, he sang for Swedish dansband Öijwinds, and from 1973 for the dansband Vikingarna (band), Vikingarna, which he left in 1979. After this, he began a solo career. He participated at the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1985 with the song "Sjung din sång", which was knocked out in the first round. In parallel to his solo albums he also sang with Anders Engbergs until 1988. The upcoming year he began appearing together with Spotlight, later appearing under the name Stefan Borsch orkester releasing albums until the 1993 band breakup. Between 11 February 1995 and 4 December 1999 he was a member of Keith Elwins orkester. before ending his musical career in 1999. On 3 July 2004, he made an appearance in the Arvika Park together with Vikingarna during the band's final appearance. Hagfors
Hagfors is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality and the seat of Hagfors Municipality, Värmland County, Sweden with 10,125 inhabitants in 2010. Its history is traced to 1873, when it was decided to build two blast furnaces at the location. The town of Hagfors plays host to the Swedish Rally, a car rally, every February, which provides a significant annual economic windfall for the region. Hagfors was one of the last places in Sweden to receive the formal title of a cities in Sweden, city, when it was detached from ''Norra Råda'' in 1950. Vikingarna (band)
Vikingarna is a Swedish dansband formed in Karlstad in 1958. It is the best-selling dansband, and one of the best-selling artists, in Scandinavia and is often regarded as the greatest dansband to have existed. At the time of its 2004 dissolution it had sold more than 11 million records. History 1958–1973: Formation and early years In 1958, as skiffle bands were reaching the height of their popularity in Europe, Ji-Coo and the Vikings were formed in Sweden, with Gunnar Olsson on guitar, Hans Axelsson on bass, Egon Olsson on drums, Svante Valjestöl on keyboards, Jens “Ji-Coo” Carlson on saxophone, and Newman Alexander on trumpet. Melodifestivalen 1985
Following Herreys' victory in the previous year, Sweden were the hosts of the Eurovision Song Contest 1985. The venue chosen for the show was the country's second city, Gothenburg. In order to save money for the staging of the Eurovision Song Contest itself, the competition to select Sweden's national entry, Melodifestivalen 1985, Melodifestivalen, was a low-budget version in 1985. Of the ten entries, five went through to a second round, which was won by the song "Bra vibrationer (song), Bra vibrationer", written by Lasse Holm and Ingela Forsman, Ingela "Pling" Forsman and sung by Kikki Danielsson. Anders Engbergs
Anders Engbergs was a dansband in Skara, Sweden, reestablished in 1994 when Lotta & Anders Engbergs orkester divided into two bands, ''Anders Engbergs'' and Lotta Engbergs, three years after the divorce of husband Anders Engberg and wife Lotta Engberg. ''Anders Engbergs'' had also been the name of the pre-split band prior to Lotta Engberg joining it in 1989. One of the more famous singers in its lineup up to 1988 was Stefan Borsch. Björn Hedström, who was one of Anders Engbergs' singers, participated in the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1995 with the song ''" Du är drömmen jag drömt"''. Anders Engbergs had some Svensktoppen hits, but never achieved the same level of successes as Lotta Engbergs. "Vid en liten fiskehamn" is a song written by Jan Christer Ericsson in Lasse Stefanz, and originally thought to become a hit single, hit song with the own band. Lasse Stefanz recorded the song on the 1979 album ''Darlin' (Lasse Stefanz album), Darlin''', and it also appeared on the band's 1992 album ''På begäran (Lasse Stefanz album), På begäran''.
