Stefan Ammer
Stefan Ammer (born 13 July 1942) is a German-Australian pianist, lecturer, teacher and professor of music. A former professor at Hochschule für Musik Freiburg in Germany, and currently at the Elder Conservatorium of Music in Australia. Biography Ammer studied a master's degree in piano from the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, and has been recognised as one of the foremost musical educators and respected pianists in Germany and Australia. Ammer's pedagogical linage can be traced back to Ludwig van Beethoven: Hans Leygraf – Boon – Schnabel – Leschetizky – Czerny – Beethoven. Until Ammer's appointment as a senior lecturer of piano at Australia's senior musical academy – the Elder Conservatorium of Music, at the University of Adelaide – he was a professor at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg in Germany. A pianist ( , ) is an individual musician who plays the piano. Wanda Wiłkomirska
Wanda Wiłkomirska (11 January 1929 – 1 May 2018) was a Polish violinist and academic teacher. She was known for both the classical repertoire and for her interpretation of 20th-century music, having received two Polish State Awards for promoting Polish music to the world as well as other awards for her contribution to music. She gave world premiere performances of numerous contemporary works, including music by Tadeusz Baird and Krzysztof Penderecki. Wiłkomirska performed on a violin crafted by Pietro Guarneri in 1734 in Venice. She taught at the music academies of Mannheim and Sydney. Shueh-li Ong (Mandarin Chinese 王雪莉) is an Australian born composer, producer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist ( thereminist, synthesizer, sound designer, performer and vocalist) residing in the United States since 2005. Lucinda Collins is an Australian pianist, educator and chamber musician, who is currently head of piano at Australia's senior musical academy, the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Biography Lucinda Collins has performed widely throughout Australia, as well as giving numerous broadcasts for ABC Classic FM. Kristian Chong is an Australian concert pianist who has performed extensively throughout Australia, the UK, and in China, France, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, USA, and Africa. Alexander Scriabin
Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin (; russian: Александр Николаевич Скрябин ; – ) was a Russian composer and virtuoso pianist. Before 1903, Scriabin was greatly influenced by the music of Frédéric Chopin and composed in a relatively tonal, late Romantic idiom. Later, and independently of his influential contemporary, Arnold Schoenberg, Scriabin developed a much more dissonant musical language that had transcended usual tonality but was not atonal, which accorded with his personal brand of metaphysics. Konstantin Shamray
Konstantin Shamray (born 27 May 1985, Novosibirsk, Soviet Union) is a Russian pianist. Shamray was born in Novosibirsk and began musical-schooling at the age of six in the Kemerovo Music School with Natalia Knobloch. From 1996 he continued his studies in Moscow at the Gnessin Special School of Music , later at the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music with Tatiana Zelikman and Vladimir Tropp, and then at Musikhochschule Freiburg with Tibor Szasz. Mekhla Kumar
Mekhla Kumar is an Australian virtuoso pianist and chamber musician. Early life and education Mekhla Kumar was born in Adelaide, South Australia. She began studying piano at the age of four. After graduating from Wilderness School in 2007, Kumar gained a place at the University of Adelaide's Elder Conservatorium of Music, in the class of German-Australian Professor Stefan Ammer, where she completed a Bachelor of Music and graduated with distinction. Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR; "Bavarian Broadcasting") is a public-service radio and television broadcaster, based in Munich, capital city of the Free State of Bavaria in Germany.
