Voetbalvereniging Sterk Door Combinatie, more commonly known as VV SteDoCo or simply SteDoCo, is a Dutch football club based in the towns of Hoornaar and Hoogblokland in the Molenlanden, South Holland. It currently plays in the Derde Divisie, the fourth tier of Dutch football. The club plays their home games at Sportpark SteDoCo. The club colours, reflected in their crest and kit, are red and black. History Formed on 15 April 1946, SteDoCo has spent its entire existence in the amateur tiers, mostly playing in the Vierde Klasse. In 2007, SteDoCo experienced a surge towards the upper tiers of the amateur divisions, achieving five promotions in eight years, after a larger number of sponsors pushed the club towards new ambitions. Since 2018, the team competes in the fourth-tier Derde Divisie. Hoornaar
Hoornaar is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland, in the Alblasserwaard, north of the river Merwede and south of the river Lek. It is a part of the municipality of Molenlanden, and lies about 5 km north of Gorinchem. In 2007, the town of Hoornaar had 1655 inhabitants. 2021–22 KNVB Cup
The 2021–22 KNVB Cup, for sponsoring reasons officially called the TOTO KNVB Beker, is the 104th season of the annual Dutch national football cup competition. It began in August with the first of two preliminary rounds, and will conclude April 17, 2022 with the final played at De Kuip in Rotterdam. Ajax are defending champions as they won the 2021 final. The winners will participate in the 2022 Johan Cruyff Shield against the 2021–22 Eredivisie champions. Football Club Utrecht () is a Dutch professional football club based in Utrecht. The club competes in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, and plays its home matches at the Stadion Galgenwaard. The Eredivisie (; ''"Honour Division"'' or ''"Premier Division"'') is the highest level of professional football in the Netherlands. The league was founded in 1956, two years after the start of professional football in the Netherlands. It is considered one of the best European leagues. The Vierde Klasse ( en, Fourth Class) is the ninth tier of football in the Netherlands and the seventh tier of Dutch amateur football. This is the lowest league in the West II region. Frans Adelaar (born 5 December 1960) is a Dutch association football, football manager and former professional player. He most recently was manager of Dutch top amateur side IJsselmeervogels. Career Club career Adelaar played professional football for FC Utrecht and after that he played for the amateur clubs Door Ons Vrienden Opgericht, DOVO and HVV Hollandia. Managerial career After retiring as a player in 1993, Adelaar has managed GVVV, FC Utrecht, Akratitos F.C., Akratitos, De Graafschap, ADO Den Haag and FC Volendam. He was appointed by Sparta Rotterdam in May 2009 and dismissed in April 2010.
