''Stay the Same'' is Joey McIntyre's first solo album, released on March 16, 1999, by Columbia Records and C2 Records. It includes his first single, the title track, "Stay the Same". Release and reception The album was released during the late 1990s' teen pop revival, which was mostly dominated by artists like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync. The album was able to gain substantial success due to the placement of the single "Stay the Same", which peaked at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Joseph Mulrey McIntyre (born December 31, 1972) is an American singer-songwriter and actor. He is best known as the youngest member of the pioneering boy band, New Kids on the Block. He has sold over one million records worldwide as a solo artist. He has worked in film, television, and stage, including performing on Broadway. Early life McIntyre was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, United States. GQ was an American group, formed in The Bronx, New York, primarily noted for its success in funk, R&B, soul music and disco. The core membership of the group commenced playing professionally, under different group names, as of 1968. History GQ was first formed in 1968 as a quartet called Sabu & the Survivors, with "Sabu" being a moniker of member Keith Crier.
