Stavroula Antonakou
Stavroula Antonakou (born May 2, 1982) is a retired Greek water polo player, playing as a driver, World Champion (in 2011 in Shanghai) with the Greek women's national water polo team. She was a part of the team at the European Championships, including at the 2008, 2010 and 2012 Women's European Water Polo Championship. Stavroula Constantinou (born 1975) is a Cypriot academic who specialises in Byzantine literature. Biography She was born in Dhekelia Cantonment, Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia in 1975. She studied Byzantine, Western Medieval and Modern Greek Literature at the University of Cyprus from 1992 to 1996, the Free University of Berlin from 1997 to 1999 and the University of Cambridge from 1999 to 2004. Constantinou was also at the Free University of Berlin from 2000 to 2003 and was awarded a doctorate of philosophy degree in Byzantine Literature from that institution. Constantinou has taught Byzantine philology at the University of Cyprus since 2004. She was at the Free University once more for 2010–11 as an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation fellow. Constantinou's fields of research include hagiography, Byzantine literary genres, poetry, performances and feminism and she has published 20 scholarly articles. Stavroula "Voula" Kozomboli ( el, Σταυρούλα "Βούλα" Κοζομπόλη, born 14 January 1974) is a female Greek water polo player and Olympic silver medalist with the Greece women's national water polo team. She received a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in 2004 Athens. She received a gold medal with the Greek team at the 2005 FINA Women's Water Polo World League in Kirishi. Stavroula "Voula" Mili is a Greek molecular biologist researching the regulation, functional consequences, and disease associations of localized RNAs. She is a NIH Stadtman Investigator at the National Cancer Institute. Education Mili obtained her B.S. in Biology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai under . Stavroula Tsolakidou ( gr, Σταυρούλα Τσολακίδου, born 24 March 2000) is a Greek chess player holding the titles of International Master and Woman Grandmaster. Chess career Tsolakidou was born in Kavala, northern Greece, on 24 March 2000. She won the World U14 Girls' Chess Championship in 2013, earning her Woman FIDE Master title in the process. Stavroula Zygouri ( gr, Σταυρούλα Ζυγούρη; born May 4, 1968, in Athens) is a retired amateur Greek freestyle wrestler, who competed in the women's middleweight category. She picked up a silver medal in the 63-kg division at the 2001 Mediterranean Games in Tunis, Tunisia, and later finished fourth in Athens, when Greece hosted the 2004 Summer Olympics. Before her sporting career ended in 2012, Zygouri trained as a member of the wrestling team for Atlas Kallitheas in her native Athens, under her personal coach and mentor Panagiotis Kalaigidis.
