Ghanpur (Station) Assembly constituency, also Station Ghanpur, is a scheduled caste reserved constituency of Telangana Legislative Assembly, India. It is one of three constituencies in Jangaon district. It is part of Warangal Lok Sabha constituency. T. Rajaiah, who served as Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana is representing this constituency since its inception in 2009. Telangana Legislative Assembly
The Telangana Legislative Assembly or Telangana Śāsana Sabha is the lower house of the Telangana Legislature. The Legislative Assembly of Telangana currently consists of 119 elected members and 1 nominated member from the Anglo-Indian community. Its chief engineer was Nawab Sarwar Jung. The members of the ''Vidhana Sabha'' are directly elected by people through Universal suffrage, adult franchise. 2014 Telangana Legislative Assembly Election
The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2014 took place on 30 April and 7 May 2014 to elect members to the legislatures of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It was held concurrently with the Indian general election. The results were declared on 16 May 2014. The Telugu Desam Party led by N. Chandrababu Naidu won a majority of the 175 seats in the rump Andhra Pradesh, while Telangana Rashtra Samithi led by K. Chandrashekar Rao won in the new state of Telangana. The Telangana Legislative Assembly election was held in Telangana on 7 December 2018 to constitute the second Legislative Assembly since the formation of the state in 2014. The incumbent Telangana Rashtra Samithi, the Indian National Congress, BJP, Telangana Jana Samithi, and Telugu Desam Party were the main contestants in the election. Kadiyam Srihari (born 8 July 1952) is an Indian politician who served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana and Minister for Education of Telangana from 2014 to December 2018. Goka Ramaswamy (1933 – 21 March 2005) was an Indian politician of the Indian National Congress from undivided Andhra Pradesh. Ramaswamy served as a Minister in the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh from 1978 to 1982 holding various portfolios. Hanumakonda district, (formerly Warangal Urban district) is a district located in the northern region of the Indian state of Telangana. The district headquarters are located at Hanumakonda. The district borders the districts of Jangaon, Karimnagar, Warangal, Bhupalpally and Siddipet.
