State Treasurer Of Arizona
The State Treasurer is the state of Arizona’s chief banker and investment officer. The Treasurer’s Office accounts for and manages the cash flows of state government, directs the state’s banking services, disburses public funds, and manages Arizona’s investment portfolio. The state treasurer also serves on the management boards of a number of public entities. The state treasurer is one of six statewide elected officials and serves a term of four years. A person may only serve as state treasurer for two consecutive terms. Kimberly Yee
Kimberly Yee (born February 23, 1974) is an American politician serving as the 36th Arizona state treasurer. She is the first Asian-American woman elected to the Arizona State Legislature. A member of the Republican Party, she was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives for the 10th legislative district from 2011 to 2013 and the Arizona Senate for the 20th legislative district from 2013 until 2019. On November 29, 2017, she announced her candidacy for the position of Arizona state treasurer; she was elected to the position on November 6, 2018. She is also the first Chinese American Republican woman to win a major statewide office in the history of the United States. As Treasurer, Kimberly Yee is currently the highest-ranking statewide elected Republican woman in Arizona. Joe Hunt (Arizona)
Joseph Raphael Hunt (February 17, 1919 – February 2, 1945) was an American tennis player of the late 1930s and early 1940s from Southern California. He was the number one ranked American in 1943 and won the US singles championship in his final match. He died off the coast of Florida in an airplane crash during World War II. To date he is the only man to win the U.S. boys' (15 and under), junior (18 and under), collegiate, and men's singles championship. Tennis career A graduate of Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, Hunt played college tennis at the University of Southern California as a freshman, and he went undefeated in singles and doubles play while in college during 1938, including the Ojai Tennis Tournament.
