D-060 is a west-east trunk road, state road in northeastern Turkey that serves the land border crossing to Armenia, which is currently closed. The route starts in the west at the intersection of State road D.950 (Turkey), D.950, east of Yusufeli, Artvin Province, and terminates at Turkey's Tiknis border checkpoint with Armenia east of Akyaka, Kars. Yusufeli
Yusufeli ( hy, Բերդագրակ, Berdagrak; ka, ახალთი, Akhalti) is a town and district of Artvin Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It is located on the bank of Çoruh River 104 km south-west of the city of Artvin, on the road to Erzurum. The town of Yusufeli (population 5863) sits in a valley where the Çoruh River is joined by the Barhal, the surrounding countryside is a range of mountains running east to west, with villages in other valleys between the mountains. The micro climate allows the cultivation of olives, grapes, and citrus fruits, the driving forces of the economy in addition to tourism. The town can be reached by air via Erzurum Airport, away from Yusufeli or by road from Artvin, Erzurum and Trabzon (via İspir in Erzurum Province). Sarıkamış
Sarıkamış or Sarikamish ( ku, Zerqamîş, ) is a town and district of Kars Province in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. Its population was 17,860 in 2010. The town sits in a valley and is surrounded by mountains, many of which are covered with pine forests. It has a subalpine climate, with average of of snowfall. It has very long winters and short, dry summers. In recent years Sarıkamış has developed as a winter skiing resort, with one of the world's longest tracks. Lake Kuyucuk ( tr, Kuyucuk Gölü) is a small shallow lake located in Arpaçay district of Kars Province in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. It has an area of and a maximum depth at . The lake area is an internationally recognized Ramsar site, important for its ornithofauna, and a tourist wildlife reserve.
