Xicheng District () is a district of Beijing. Xicheng District spans , covering the western half of the old city (largely inside the 2nd Ring Road - the eastern half is Dongcheng District, Beijing, Dongcheng District), and has 706,691 inhabitants (2000 Census). Gan Lin (; born October 1963) is a Chinese agronomist and politician and the current director of the State Anti-Monopoly Bureau, in office since November 2021. She was a member of the 12th Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and is a member of the 13th Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference..
