Stará Ľubovňa District (''okres Stará Ľubovňa'') is a district in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia. Until 1918, the district was almost entirely part of the county of Kingdom of Hungary of Spiš, apart from a small area in the east which formed part of the county of Šariš. Districts Of Slovakia
An okres (in English district) is an administrative unit in Slovakia. It is a second-tier territorial administrative unit, below a Regions of Slovakia, Region in standing, and superior to a municipality. Each district contains at least several municipalities. The cities of Bratislava and Košice are the only cities in Slovakia divided into internal urban districts, with five in Bratislava, and four in Košice. These urban districts are then further divided into smaller boroughs (which serve a function analogous to municipalities in typical districts). All other districts are larger in size and also include rural areas, and rural as well as urban municipalities. Each of these more typical districts has an urban centre serving as the seat of the district, usually the largest town (or the only town) of a given district. Hromoš

Ľubotín
Ľubotín ( hu, Lubotény) is a village and municipality in Stará Ľubovňa District in the Prešov Region of northern Slovakia. History In historical records the village was mentioned for the first time in 1330. The oldest record comes from a priest Štefan de Lubentin from the year 1330. It is thought that Ľubotín belongs to the oldest Slovak villages, already existing in the 11th century. The coat-of-arms of the village (Madonna with baby Jesus) was firstly used in the first half of 14th century. The hundredth anniversary of the church's consecration was celebrated on 6 November 2007 at the presence of Alojz Tkáč, the archbishop of Košice. Litmanová
Litmanová ( rue, Літманова; uk, Литманова, ''Lytmanova''; german: Littmannsau; hu, Hársád - until 1902 ''Littmanova'') is a village and municipality in Stará Ľubovňa District in the Prešov Region of northern Slovakia. A small ski resort and a Catholic religious site are located in Litmanová. History In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1412, when Hungary leased Litmanová to Poland in an effort to raise money for a war. After 360 years of Polish rule, Poland returned Litmanová to Hungary in 1772. The village was located in the northeastern part of Szepes County. Legnava
Legnava ( hu, Hosszúvágás) is a village and municipality in the Stará Ľubovňa District, Prešov Region in northern Slovakia. It has 146 inhabitants. History Early history The village was founded after 1366, when the then Hungarian king Louis I gave a nobleman Jakub a forested area near the villages of Starina, Orlov, near the Poprad river, to create a village. Legnava under Hungarian Rule In the past, the village had tax ports that belonged to the Brežnovica family. In the documents from the 15th and 16th centuries, the tax ports are mentioned sporadically under the name, "Langno", the Hungarian variant of the name, other name included, Lagnó and Hosszúvágás.
