Staro Nagoričane Municipality ( mk, ) is a municipality in the northern part of North Macedonia. The municipal seat is located in the village ''Staro Nagoričane''. This municipality is part of the Northeastern Statistical Region. Geography The municipality borders Serbia to the north, Kumanovo Municipality to the west, Kratovo Municipality to the south, and Rankovce Municipality to the east. It largely corresponds to the historical and geographical region of Sredorek (region), Sredorek. History and culture By the 2003 territorial division of the republic, the rural Klečevce Municipality was attached to Staro Nagoričane Municipality. Municipalities Of North Macedonia
The municipalities are the first-order administrative divisions of North Macedonia. North Macedonia is currently organized into 80 municipalities ( mk, општини, ''opštini''; singular: општина, ''opština,'' Albanian: ''komunat''; singular: ''komuna''), established in February 2013; 10 of the municipalities constitute the City of Skopje (or Greater Skopje), a distinct unit of local self-governance and the country's capital. Most of the current municipalities were unaltered or merely amalgamated from the previous 123 municipalities established in September 1996; others were consolidated and their borders changed. Prior to this, local government was organized into 34 administrative districts, communes, or counties (also ''opštini''). The Serbian Orthodox Church ( sr-Cyrl, Српска православна црква, Srpska pravoslavna crkva) is one of the autocephalous (ecclesiastically independent) Eastern Orthodox Christian denomination, Christian churches. Dejlovce
Dejlovce ( mk, Дејловце) is a settlement in northeastern North Macedonia, in the municipality of Staro Nagoričane. According to the 2002 census, it had 44 inhabitants. Geography To the nearest city, the settlement is 25 kilometres east of Kumanovo. Dejlovce is situated in the historical region of Sredorek, on the western slopes of the German mountains, on ca. 650 m above sea. History In Serbian Emperor Stefan Dušan's (r. 1331–55) confirmed on 10 August 1354, several villages, settlements and arable land which was granted (''metochion'') by despot Dejan to his endowment, the Arhiljevica Church of the Holy Mother of God. Vračevce
Vračevce ( mk, Врачевце) is a small village in the municipality of Staro Nagoričane, North Macedonia. Geography To the nearest city, the settlement is 17 kilometres northeast of Kumanovo. Vračevce is situated in the historical region of Sredorek, in the Kozjak mountain region (''Kozjačija''), on ca. 430 m above sea. The Pčinja river flows east of the village.
