Argalus Waldo Starks (March 10, 1804June 28, 1870) was an American farmer, politician, and Wisconsin pioneer. He served as the 3rd Wisconsin Department of Corrections, State Prison Commissioner of Wisconsin and later served 6 years in the Wisconsin Legislature, representing Sauk County, Wisconsin, Sauk County. Biography Born in Williamsburg, Massachusetts, Starks lived in Jefferson County, New York, and then in Albany, New York. He served on the Albany City Council while living in Albany, New York. Duane Lonell Starks (born May 23, 1974) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens 10th overall in the 1998 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Miami. Starks, who earned a Super Bowl ring with the Ravens in Super Bowl XXXV, also played for the Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders. Although he was undrafted in the 1988 NBA draft after attending four colleges in his native Oklahoma, including Oklahoma State University, he gained fame while playing for the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association in the 1990s. Llewellyn Starks
Llewellyn Starks (born February 10, 1967) is a retired male long jumper who competed for the United States in the 1980s and early-1990s. He was a silver medalist at the Pan American Games in 1991, and a bronze medalist at the US National Championships in 1989 and 1990. He set his personal best of 8.50 metres on July 7, 1991 at a meet in Rhede, Germany. Starks' career came to a shocking end when he suffered a compound fracture to his right leg during a jump at the 1992 New York Games. Starks won the long jump event at the 1990 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship, setting a school record of 8.24 m for the Louisiana State University Tigers.
