Stargate Universe Season 2
The second and final season of '' Stargate Universe'' was announced by Syfy on December 13, 2009. Like the first season, the second season consisted of 20 episodes. The series was moved from the franchise's long history of Friday to Tuesday, along with ''Caprica'', as Syfy had picked up WWE Friday Night SmackDown. The series resumed on September 28, 2009, USA. In Ireland & UK, the series resumed on October 5 at 9pm on Sky1 and Sky1 HD. Syfy announced on December 16, 2010, that it would not be picking ''Stargate Universe'' up for a third season and that the Spring 2011 season would be the last to air on its channel. Syfy (formerly Sci-Fi Channel, later shortened to Sci Fi; stylized as SYFY) is an American basic cable channel owned by the NBCUniversal Television and Streaming division of Comcast's NBCUniversal through NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. Eli Wallace
This is a list of characters in ''Stargate Universe'', an American-Canadian military science fiction serial drama which made its premiere on October 2, 2009, on the Syfy channel. Main characters Nicholas Rush Nicholas Rush (portrayed by Robert Carlyle) is an expert in Ancient technology. His research was hindered while he was married to Gloria Rush (Louise Lombard). Since her death, he has become more dedicated to science. He spearheads the Icarus Project, his main priority being to explore the mystery behind the ninth chevron of the Stargate. Rush was stationed at the Icarus Base in 2009, in order to do research on the ninth chevron. Carl Binder
Carl Binder (born August 10, 1960) is a Canadian television writer and producer. He is most noted for his contributions to the ''Stargate SG-1'' and ''Stargate Atlantis'' series as well as ''Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman'' and ''Little Men''. Binder currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia. Career Binder, who hails from Ontario, has worked extensively in television since the mid-1980s. William Waring
William Michael "Will" Waring is a camera operator and director, primarily for ''Stargate SG-1'' and ''Stargate Atlantis''. He attended the Film Production course at the Theatre department of the University of British Columbia, where he developed the "WillyCam", a mechanical camera stabilisation device. His signature as a camera operator and director is to subtly include a pineapple in scenes. Andy Mikita is a Canadian television director and producer. He has worked in the TV and film industry for over 30 years. Mikita is best known for his work as a director and producer for ''Stargate SG-1'', and its sister shows ''Stargate Atlantis'' and ''Stargate Universe''.
