''Instant Adventures'' is an anthology of short adventures published by West End Games (WEG) in 1997 for '' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game'', itself based on the ''Star Wars'' franchise. Description ''Star Wars Instant Adventures'' is a collection of nine short adventure scenarios for the ''Star Wars'' role-playing game that can be added to a campaign, introduced as a link between other adventures, or used anytime the gamemaster needs a short interlude. The book also includes 32 full-color adventure cards that provide illustrations of some of the ships, vehicles and aliens and people encountered in the scenarios. West End Games
West End Games (WEG) was a company that made Board game, board, Role-playing game, role-playing, and wargaming, war games. It was founded by Daniel Scott Palter in 1974 in New York City, but later moved to Honesdale, Pennsylvania. The ''D6 System'' is a role-playing game system published by West End Games (WEG) and licensees. While the system is primarily intended for pen-and-paper role-playing games, variations of the system have also been used in live action role-playing games and miniature battle games. The system is named after the 6-sided die, which is used in every roll required by the system. System Attributes and skills Characters in the ''D6 System'' are defined by attributes and skills. Space Opera
Space opera is a subgenre of science fiction that emphasizes space warfare, with use of melodramatic, risk-taking space adventures, relationships, and chivalric romance. Set mainly or entirely in outer space, it features technological and social advancements (or lack thereof) in faster-than-light travel, futuristic weapons, and sophisticated technology, on a backdrop of galactic empires and interstellar wars with fictional aliens, often in fictional galaxies. A gamemaster (GM; also known as game master, game manager, game moderator, referee, or storyteller) is a person who acts as an organizer, officiant for regarding rules, arbitrator, and moderator for a multiplayer role-playing game. They are more common in co-operative games in which players work together than in competitive games in which players oppose each other. The act performed by a gamemaster is sometimes referred to as "Gamemastering" or simply "GM-ing". Timothy Zahn (born September 1, 1951) is an American writer of science fiction and fantasy. Loston Wallace (born 1970) is an American freelance comic book artist and comics-licensing illustrator. Biography Wallace attended The Kubert School from 1994-1996. In 1996, Wallace married Carolyn Waterson, who had also attended the Kubert School.
