Star Wars Comic UK
''Star Wars Comic'' was a British comic book series published monthly by Titan Magazines from 1999 to 2014. For its first five volumes of publication, the title featured comic strips reprinted from ''Star Wars'' comics originally published in the United States by Dark Horse Comics. From volume six onwards, each issue featured an original comic strip based on the Star Wars franchise. Publication History The first volume of ''Star Wars Comic'' began publication in July 1999 to coincide with the cinematic release of ''The Phantom Menace''. This initial run concluded in November 1999, with a second volume beginning soon after. Volumes 3 and 4 were launched to coincide with the theatrical releases of ''Attack of the Clones'' and ''Revenge of the Sith'' in 2002 and 2005 respectively, with the issue numbering beginning again from issue 1 upon the commencement of each volume. Titan Magazines
Titan Magazines is the magazine-publishing division of Titan Publishing Group. Titan Magazines' publishing directors are Ricky Claydon and John Dziewiatkowski. History Titan Magazines launched in 1995 with '' Star Trek Magazine'' with John Freeman as first editor, although it had previously published several one shot film tie-in titles. Since then it has published many film, TV and comics titles, including poster magazines for Tim Burton's '' Batman''. Some of Titan's magazines are published in the US, although not all, some with an entirely separate magazine. In April 2016, Bleeding Cool published a blog/vlog entry pertaining to concerns over Titan's UK reprints of DC titles, specifically cancellations and a lack of updates and communication with readers, as well as addressing the frequent inconsistencies regarding the publication dates of future issues. X-wing Rogue Squadron (comics)
The X-wing starfighter is a name applied to a family of fictional spacecraft manufactured by the Incom Corporation from the ''Star Wars'' franchise. Named for the distinctive shape made when its s-foils (wings) are in attack position, the X-wing was a class of starfighter used by the Rebel Alliance in their conflict with the Galactic Empire. It made its theatrical debut, as the T-65B model, in ''Star Wars'' (1977) as the spacecraft piloted by Luke Skywalker and the Red Squadron when Luke destroyed the Death Star. Will Sliney is an Irish comic books artist. He is known as the co-creator of the ''Star Wars'' character Ren, and for his work on comic books such as the ''Marvel's Fearless Defenders'' series, the graphic novel ''Celtic Warrior: The Legend of Cú Chulainn'', and the monthly series ''Spider-Man 2099''. 3D films are motion pictures made to give an illusion of three-dimensional solidity, usually with the help of special glasses worn by viewers.
