The Star Awards for Favourite Onscreen Partners (Variety) was an award presented annually at the Star Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1994. The category was introduced in 2011, at the 17th Star Awards ceremony. It was given in honour of variety show partners that was deemed the most popular among the television audience. The nominees were determined by a team of judges employed by MediaCorp; winners were selected by a majority vote from the public via online voting. Chen Biyu , Dennis Chew , Marcus Chin & Mark Lee are the recent winners in this category for their performance in ''Yujian Huangchong (Weekend Edition)''. Michelle Chong and Quan were nominated twice, more than any other host. Chong also holds the record for the most nominations without a win. Star Awards
The Star Awards (Chinese: 红星大奖) are awards for artistic and technical merit in the media organisation Mediacorp of Singapore where Mediacorp recognises entertainers under their employment for outstanding performances of the year. The awards are given annually in a ceremony. The various category winners are awarded a trophy, with initial designs featuring various star shapes. The star was subsequently removed and the trophy is designed as a S shaped column, depicting the star. History The 1st Star Awards presentation was held on 26 February 1994, took place at the Caldecott Broadcast Centre, MediaCorp TV Theatre with an audience of about 500 people. There have no other pre-show and post-awards ceremony held in that year. Winners were announced during the presentation of the ceremony, the ceremony also presented a popularity contest, with Li Nanxing, Chew Chor Meng and Zoe Tay winning the Most Popular Actor and Actress award, respectively. Kym Ng
Ng Kwee Khim (; born 1 July 1967), best known by her stage name Kym Ng (), is a Singaporean television host and actress. She is known as one of Mediacorp’s Variety Ah Jies (综艺阿姐). Ng has received numerous accolades locally and regionally. The 27th edition of the Star Awards, Star Awards 2022 (Chinese: 红星大奖2022) is a television award ceremony that honoured the best in Singaporean television released between January and December 2021.
