Justin Ikeem Staples (born December 10, 1989) is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent. He played college football for the University of Illinois. He has been a member of the Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans. Early years Staples played high school football at St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio. He was named to the Cleveland Plain Dealer All-State team as a linebacker his senior year, recording 92 tackles, seven sacks, one interception, 11 pass break-ups, six forced fumbles and two recovered fumbles. Samuel James Staples (18 September 1892 – 4 June 1950) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Nottinghamshire in the 1920s and early 1930s. He played in three Tests for England against South Africa in 1927–28. He would have toured Australia in 1928–29 but his health broke down before the tour began. However, as a stock bowler for Nottinghamshire, Staples was an essential part of their successful team in the 1920s because his long spells of accurate medium-pace bowling allowed speedster Harold Larwood and the physically sensitive Tich Richmond to be more effective through not being overworked. Peter Staples
Peter Staples (born 15 October 1947 in Melbourne, Victoria) is an Australian former politician for the Australian Labor Party. He was first elected to Parliament in 1983 as the Member for Diamond Valley. When Diamond Valley was abolished in 1984, Staples transferred to the newly created Jagajaga, essentially the western half of his old electorate. In 1987, he was appointed Consumer Affairs Minister by Prime Minister Bob Hawke in his third ministry. Staples would remain a junior minister for nearly six years, serving as Minister for Housing and Aged Care and later Aged, Family and Health Services in the Hawke and Keating Ministries. Staples lost his spot in the ministry to Frank Walker after the party's victory at the 1993 election. Mavis Staples (born July 10, 1939) is an American rhythm and blues and gospel singer, actress, and civil rights activist. She rose to fame as a member of her family's band The Staple Singers (she is the last surviving member of that band).
