Stanton Barrett Motorsports is an American professional stock car racing team that last competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The team is owned by driver and Cinema of the United States, Hollywood stuntman Stanton Barrett. Nationwide Series The team began in 2002 as Red Racing in the NASCAR Busch Series fielding the No. 91 Bojangles'/Odoban Ford. The team ran twelve races that year with a top finish of 21st at Nashville Superspeedway, Nashville and Lowe's Motor Speedway, Charlotte. The team returned again in 2003 after Stanton's release from Roush Racing for seven races and ran various manufacturers. The team would only end up finishing one race and that would be in the 30th position at Lowe's Motor Speedway, Charlotte. For the 2004 season the team returned to the Busch Series as Stanton Barrett Racing for 16 races. Stanton Thomas Barrett (born December 1, 1972) is an American professional stock car racing driver and Cinema of the United States, Hollywood stunt double, stuntman who last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro for Mike Harmon Racing, and part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 11 Toyota Camry for Fast Track Racing. The son of former stuntman Stan Barrett, he began NASCAR racing in the early 1990s, starting with the Busch Series in 1992. Seven years later, he started racing in the Cup Series, making his series debut with Donlavey Racing. Barrett has since run part-time across NASCAR's top three series, sometimes as an Owner-Driver (NASCAR), owner/driver.
