Stanisław Karczewski
Stanisław Karczewski (born 14 November 1955, in Warsaw) is a Polish politician and surgeon. He has served as a Senator since 2005, as Deputy Speaker of the Senate between 2011 and 2015 and since 2019, and between 2015 and 2019 as Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland. Biography He graduated in 1981 with a medical degree from the Medical University of Warsaw, after which he received a second specialized degree in general surgery. He was employed from 1981 at the district hospital in the town of Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą, New City Pilica. He served both as assistant director of the emergency department, and as director of the hospital. He is currently head of the Department of Surgery. Between 1998 and 2002 he worked in the Grójec County local administration, and from 2002 to 2005 he served as a councilor of the regional council of Mazovia. Deputy Marshal Of The Senate Of The Republic Of Poland
Deputy Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland ( pl, Wicemarszałek Senatu RP) is one of the Polish Senate, Polish Senators in the upper house of the Polish parliament who serves as the deputy of the Senate Marshal (speaker). There could be a maximum of four Deputy Marshals. Deputy Marshals are allowed to preside over the Senate sessions when the Marshal does not preside. Marek Pęk
Marek Pęk (born 8 August 1975) is a Polish lawyer and politician. Biography Marek Pęk graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University (2001). In 2006 he completed post-graduate studies in European law. He dealt with legal advice in the field of, among others business law and public procurement. He was also a consultant for deputies and MEPs. In 2006 and 2014 he unsuccessfully ran on the Law and Justice list for the Lesser Poland Regional Assembly. Pęk was the Law and Justice candidate for the Polish Senate in Kraków in 2015 Polish parliamentary election.
