Olphert Martin Stanfield (26 February 1869, Belfast – 13 March 1952) also referred to as Olphie Stanfield or Ollie Stanfield was an Irish footballer who played for Distillery and Ireland during the 1880s and 1890s. Stanfield was a complete forward, capable of scoring with either foot and his head. He was also comfortable playing as centre-forward, inside-left or inside-right. He was the most capped international footballer during the 19th century, Ireland’s record goalscorer during the 19th century and remains the most capped Distillery player of all time. Kevin Bruce Stanfield (born December 19, 1955) is an American former professional baseball pitcher who played for the Minnesota Twins in 1979. Stanfield attended San Gorgonio High School in San Bernardino, California and played college baseball at San Bernardino Valley College in 1975 and 1976. He began his professional career with the Minnesota Twins and became known as one of the best prospects in their farm system. In August 1979, with Twins owner Clark Griffith in attendance, Stanfield threw a three-hit complete game for the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens. He was promoted to the Twins within the week. Andrew William Stanfield (December 29, 1927 – June 15, 1985) was an American sprinter and Olympic gold and silver medallist. Biography Andy Stanfield born in Washington, D.C., but moved to Jersey City as a child. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1946, where he was already a talented athlete, excelling in the sprints and long jump. After his army service, Stanfield entered Seton Hall University in 1948. The following year, he won his first of a long list of national titles. Frederic William Stanfield (May 4, 1944 – September 13, 2021) was a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who played 14 seasons in the National Hockey League from 1964 until 1978.
