Stand By Me (Lil Durk Song)
"Stand by Me" is a song by American rapper Lil Durk featuring American country music singer Morgan Wallen. It was sent to US radio crossover through Only the Family, Alamo Records, and Sony Music as the third and final single from Durk's eighth studio album, ''Almost Healed'', on July 14, 2023. The two artists wrote the song with producer Dr. Luke, alongside Ernest, Jacob Durrett, Ryan Ogren, LunchMoney Lewis, and Charlie Handsome. "Stand by Me" marks the second collaboration between Durk and Wallen, following the former's 2021 single, "Broadway Girls", from his previous album, '' 7220'' (2022). Lil Durk
Durk Derrick Banks (born October 19, 1992), known professionally as Lil Durk, is an American rapper and singer. He is the lead member and founder of the collective and record label Only the Family (OTF). Durk garnered a cult following with the release of his ''Signed to the Streets'' mixtape series (2013–2014), which lead to a record deal with Def Jam Recordings. The label would release his debut studio albums, ''Remember My Name (album), Remember My Name'' (2015) and ''Lil Durk 2X'' (2016), before Durk departed Def Jam in 2018. Following the independent release of his ''Just Cause Y'all Waited'' mixtape in March 2018, Durk signed a deal with Alamo Records in July. Drill is a subgenre of hip hop music that originated in Chicago streets in the early 2010s. It is sonically similar to the trap music subgenre and lyrically similar to the gangsta rap subgenre.
