Stan Zadel
Stanley Zadel (April 8, 1916 – October 21, 1982) was a professional basketball player. He played in the National Basketball League for the Sheboygan Red Skins for ten games in one season, then played for the Chicago Bruins in 18 games the following season. In 28 career games, he averaged 5.0 points per game. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. Centers are valued for their ability to protect their own goal from high-percentage close attempts on defense, while scoring and rebounding with high efficiency on offense. Sheboygan Red Skins
The Sheboygan Red Skins (or Redskins) was a professional basketball team based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, which was an original National Basketball Association franchise during the 1949–1950 season. History Overview The Redskins played in three professional leagues and as an independent team. The leagues were, in order, the National Basketball League (NBL); the National Basketball Association (charter member), and the National Professional Basketball League (NPBL). The team originated in 1933 from informal clubs which were sponsored by local businesses. They joined the NBL by 1938 as the Red Skins, owned by a syndicate.
