Stan Statham

	Stan Statham Stan Statham (April 7, 1939 – August 1, 2020) was an American broadcaster and politician from California. He was elected as a Republican to the California State Assembly in 1976, and served until 1994. Statham was known as an advocate of the State of Jefferson. Biography Stan Statham was born on April 7, 1939, in the then-rural community of Chico, California. After a single enlistment in the Army in Military Intelligence, he worked in radio and banking until landing the job of news director and nightly news anchor at KHSL-TV, the Chico CBS affiliate. For 12 years, Statham ran news operations; he also conducted several on-air interviews of politicians and celebrities. 	Cathie Wright Cathie M. Wright (May 18, 1929 – April 14, 2012) was an American politician from California and a member of the Republican party. Early career A onetime Simi Valley councilwoman, Wright was serving as mayor in 1980 when she won election to the California State Assembly seat vacated by Republican Bob Cline, who had made an unsuccessful run for state senate. She represented the Ventura county based 37th district until 1992, when she opted not to seek reelection. In 1992 she would run for the California State Senate. She won her race and would hold the office until 2000 and term limits would not allow her to run again. 	Dan Hauser Daniel E. Hauser (June 18, 1942) served in the California State Assembly from 1982 until 1996. After graduating from Humboldt State University, Hauser served two terms on the Arcata City Council from 1974 to 1982. He served as Mayor of Arcata, California from 1978 to 1982. Hauser represented the California's 2nd State Assembly district from 1982 until 1992.
