Stan Morrison
Stanley Mack Morrison (born October 15, 1939) is an American retired college basketball coach and athletic director. He was head men's basketball coach at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California from 1972 to 1979, University of Southern California (USC) from 1979 to 1986, and San Jose State University from 1989 to 1998. From 1986 to 1989 Morrison was the athletic director for the University of California, Santa Barbara's 21-sport program, helped raise significant funds annually for the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, and served on the NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament Committee. He was the athletic director at the University of California, Riverside for 12 years until his retirement on August 15, 2011. Lynwood is a city in Los Angeles County, California. At the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 69,772, down from 69,845 at the 2000 census. Rene Herrerias
Rene Anthony Herrerias (born June 4, 1926) is an American basketball coach. He served as head coach at University of California, Berkeley from 1960 to 1968. Born in San Francisco, Herrerias graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory in 1944 and served in the United States Navy afterwards. From 1947 to 1950, Herrerias played college basketball at the University of San Francisco, where he was a member of the 1949 NIT championship team coached by Pete Newell. Herrerias received All-American honors (HM) in 1950. After graduating, he became head coach at St. Ignatius Prep. As coach, Herrerias led St. Ignatius to four state titles, in 1951, 1954, 1955, and 1956. Herrerias also taught history and typing at St. Igantius. Herrerias reunited with Newell as an assistant coach at Cal. In 1960, Herrerias succeeded Newell as Cal's head coach. He resigned in 1968 because of a dispute with athlete Bob Presley. The 1962 FIBA European Champions Cup Final was a championship 1961–62 season EuroLeague Finals basketball game that was held in Patinoire des Vernets, Geneva, Switzerland, on the 29 June 1962, that saw Dinamo Tbilisi defeat Real Madrid, by a score 90-83, in front of 5,000 spectators,Champions Cup 1961-62 to claim its first, and to this day, only ever EuroLeague title. The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system.
