Stan Malinowski
Stan Malinowski (born Stanley Edward Malinowski, Jr. on November 2, 1936 in Chicago) is an American photographer known for his fashion photography. Early life Malinowski is the only child of Regina Grajewski (who returned to her maiden name after divorce) and Stanley Malinowski, Sr. He studied at Loyola University, Roosevelt University and Illinois Institute of Technology; majoring in engineering, psychology and photography. His instructors included Harry Callahan and Aaron Siskind. Career Having grown up in Chicago, ''Playboy'' magazine seemed a natural fit for the budding photographer. "I brought some slides to Playboy, asked if I could return to show more and a month later walked away with my first assignment." Hans Feurer (born Hanspeter Feurer, September 22, 1939) is a Swiss fashion photographer who lives in Zürich, Switzerland. Biography Hans Feurer was born in Switzerland in 1939. After studying art there, he worked as a graphic artist, illustrator and art director for several advertising agencies in London. In 1966, after buying a Land Rover and leaving for Africa, he decided to embark as a professional photographer. He returned to London, rented a studio, and started working on his photographs. Will McBride (photographer)
Will McBride (January 10, 1931 – January 29, 2015) was an American photographer in reportage, art photography and book illustration as well as a painter and sculptor. Life McBride was born in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up in Chicago. He was trained as a painter by Norman Rockwell and went on to study drawing and painting at Syracuse University, where he graduated in 1953. From 1953 to 1955 he served in the United States Army at Würzburg, Germany as a lieutenant, and would remain in Germany until his death. 1969 McBride divorced his wife Barbara (née Wilke, married 1959) with whom he had three children: Shawn-, Robin-, and Brian McBride. Bert Stern
Bertram Stern (October 3, 1929 – June 26, 2013) was an American commercial photographer. Biography Stern was the son of Jewish immigrants and grew up in Brooklyn. His father worked as a children's portrait photographer. After dropping out of high school at the age of 16, he gained a job in the mail room at '' Look'' magazine. He became art director at ''Flair'' magazine, where Stern learned how to develop film and make contact sheets, and started taking his own pictures. In 1951, Stern was drafted into the United States Army, sent to Japan and assigned to the photographic department. In the 1960s, his heavy use of amphetamines led to the end of his marriage to ballerina Allegra Kent. He was one of the last photographers to shoot Marilyn Monroe, in June and July 1962 for Vogue magazine. Monroe died in August 1962. Victor Skrebneski
Victor Paul Skrebneski (December 17, 1929 – April 4, 2020) was an American photographer born in Chicago to parents of Polish and Russian heritage. He was educated at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1943 and attended the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1947 to 1949. He set up his own studio in Chicago in 1952. The Art Institute of Chicago had an exhibit of his work in 1969.
