Stan Kozlowski
Stanley J. Kozlowski (February 25, 1924 – August 23, 1972) was an American football fullback in the All-America Football Conference (AAFC) for the Miami Seahawks. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame and the College of the Holy Cross and was drafted in the third round of the 1946 NFL draft The 1946 National Football League Draft was held on January 14, 1946, at the Commodore Hotel in New York City, New York. Fullback (American Football)
A fullback (FB) is a position in the offensive backfield in gridiron football, and is one of the two running back positions along with the halfback. Fullbacks are typically larger than halfbacks and in most offensive schemes the fullback's duties are split among power running, pass catching, and blocking for both the quarterback and the other running back. Many great runners in the history of American football have been fullbacks, including Jim Brown, Marion Motley, Bronko Nagurski, Jim Taylor, Franco Harris, Larry Csonka, John Riggins, Christian Okoye, and Levi Jackson. The National Football League Draft, also called the NFL Draft or (officially) the Player Selection Meeting, is an annual event which serves as the league's most common source of player recruitment.
