Stan Case
Stanley Wright Case (November 1952 – November 22, 2011) was an American lawyer and broadcast journalist. He was best known as the news anchor of CNN Radio from 1985 to 2011. Early life and education A native of Prague, Oklahoma, Case graduated from Prague High School in 1970. He received his bachelor's degree in Speech in 1975 from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. In 1996, Case graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from the Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta. He was licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia and also taught as a professor. Career Case began his broadcast news career in the 1970s at small radio stations in Midwest City, Oklahoma and Jackson, Mississippi. He quickly moved on to KVOO (now KTSB) in Tulsa. Prague, Oklahoma
Prague () is a city in Lincoln County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 2,346 at the 2020 census, an 1.76 percent decrease from the figure of 2,388 in 2010. Czech immigrants founded the city, and named it after the capital of the present-day Czech Republic. KREF-FM (94.7 MHz) is a commercial radio station located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. KREF-FM airs a sports format branded as "94.7 The Ref". Owned by iHeartMedia, its transmitter is located in Northeast Oklahoma City, and studios are located at the 50 Penn Place building on the Northwest side. KTSB (1170 AM) is a commercial radio station in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It is owned by Griffin Communications and airs a sports radio format. The station carries local sports talk. KTSB studios and offices are located across from Guthrie Green in Downtown Tulsa, and it transmits from a three-tower facility located along East 11th Street (Route 66) in an undeveloped area of East Tulsa. KTSB is a clear channel Class A station broadcasting at 50,000 watts, the maximum power for American AM stations. The station uses a non-directional antenna by day, heard over much of Eastern Oklahoma and parts of Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri.
