Staffan Götestam
Per Staffan Götestam (born 20 May 1952 in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden) is a Swedish actor, director, theatre chief, playwright and founder of Junibacken. He is best known as Jonatan in ''The Brothers Lionheart''. He is brother to Birgitta Götestam. Götestam started playing amateur theatre with ''Örebro Student Theatre''. He was educated at ''Skara skolscen'' and ''Statens scenskola'', Stockholm. He played a role in the musical ''Godspell'', in 1974. Götestam wrote the music of the song " Mio My Mio" from the film ''Mio in the Land of Faraway''. In the beginning of the 1980s, he started working with Olle Kinch, the theatre chief of Folkan. He then finished his acting career and became a producer/director. He directed many plays, among them '' Nils Karlsson Pyssling'', ''Madicken'' and ''Tjorven på Saltkråkan'', and many musicals, among them ''Rent'', ''Beauty and the Beast'' and '' the Wizard of Oz''. Örnsköldsvik
Örnsköldsvik (, ) is a locality and the seat of Örnsköldsvik Municipality in Västernorrland County, Sweden, with 32,953 inhabitants in 2017. Its natural harbour and archipelago is in the Gulf of Bothnia and the northern boundaries of the High Coast area. It is well known as an exporter of pulp and paper products and heavy machinery goods. Rent (musical)
''Rent'' is a rock musical with music, lyrics, and book by Jonathan Larson, loosely based on Giacomo Puccini's 1896 opera ''La Bohème''. It tells the story of a group of impoverished young artists struggling to survive and create a life in Lower Manhattan's East Village in the thriving days of bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS. The musical was first seen in a workshop production at New York Theatre Workshop in 1993. This same off-Broadway theatre was also the musical's initial home following its official 1996 opening. Östermalm (; "Eastern city-borough") is a 2.56 km2 large district in central Stockholm, Sweden. With 71,802 inhabitants, it is one of the most populous districts in Stockholm. It is an extremely expensive area, having the highest housing prices in Sweden. Pettson and Findus ( sv, Pettson och Findus) is a series of children's books written and illustrated by Swedish author Sven Nordqvist. The books feature an old farmer (Pettson) and his cat (Findus) who live in a small ramshackle farmhouse in the countryside in around the 1950's. The first of the Pettson och Findus books to be published was ''Pannkakstårtan'' in 1984 (first published in English in 1985 as ''Pancake Pie''). To date, nine story books have been published in Swedish, plus a puzzle book, song book and cook book.
