Stadshagen is a district in Stockholm Municipality in Stockholm, Sweden. Location Stadshagen is located in the northwest part of the island of Kungsholmen. Stadshagen borders the districts of Kungsholmen through Lilla Västerbron, Marieberg and Igeldammsgatan; Kristineberg through Lindhagensgatan; Marieberg through part of Rålambshovsleden and to Huvudsta in Solna municipality through the Karlbergskanalen. Stadshagen Metro Station
Stadshagen metro station is a station on the blue line of the Stockholm metro, located in the district of Stadshagen. The station was inaugurated on 31 August 1975 as part the first stretch of the Blue Line between T-Centralen and Hjulsta metro station, Hjulsta. Karlbergskanalen
Karlbergskanalen (Swedish for "Canal of Karlberg") is a canal in western central Stockholm, Sweden. Separating the island of Kungsholmen from the northern municipality Solna, it connects Ulvsundasjön to Karlbergssjön and thus forms the westernmost part of the nameless body of water which separates Kungsholmen from the northern city districts Vasastaden and Norrmalm; the other sections being Karlbergssjön, Barnhusviken, and Klara Sjö. Kungsholmen
Kungsholmen is an island in Lake Mälaren in Sweden, part of central Stockholm, Sweden. It is situated north of Riddarfjärden and considered part of the historical province Uppland. Stockholm Municipality or the City of Stockholm ( sv, Stockholms kommun or ) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Fridhemsplan
Fridhemsplan is a square at the intersection of Fridhemsgatan and Drottningholmsvägen in the districts of Kungsholmen and Marieberg in Stockholm, Sweden. Description The name Fridhemsplan was given 1935, after the major street ''Fridhemsgatan'' crossing the area. Before that, the area was simply known as Kungsholmen toll station. At Fridhemsplan metro station, the blue and the green lines of the Stockholm Metro intersect. The green line had a station on Fridhemsplan, and in 1975, the blue line was completed. The adjacent shopping mall, Västermalmsgallerian, was inaugurated on 23 August 2002. It targets young middle-class customers of the surrounding area. The shopping centre is in a renovated building from the 1970s and replaced the underground "square" at the intersection of Sankt Eriksgatan and Fleminggatan Streets. Stockholm Metro
The Stockholm metro ( sv, Stockholms tunnelbana) is a rapid transit system in Stockholm, Sweden. The first line opened in 1950, and today the system has 100 stations in use, of which 47 are underground and 53 above ground. There are three coloured lines, as shown on the tube maps, which form seven numbered routes with different termini. Routes numbered 17, 18 and 19 (green line), 13 and 14 (red line) and 10 and 11 (blue line) all go through the centre of the city, resulting in a very centralized system. Adrian is a form of the Latin given name Adrianus or Hadrianus. Its ultimate origin is most likely via the former river Adria from the Venetic and Illyrian word ''adur'', meaning "sea" or "water".
