Stadion Eden
Fortuna Arena (formerly known as Sinobo Stadium, Eden Aréna and Synot Tip Arena) is a football stadium, in Prague-Vršovice, Czech Republic. The stadium has a capacity of 19,370 people and it is the biggest and the most modern football stadium in the country. It is the home venue of SK Slavia Prague and occasionally the Czech Republic national football team. In the 2010–11 and 2011–12 seasons, it was also the venue of Bohemians 1905 home matches. During the 2011–12 season the stadium hosted home matches for FC Viktoria Plzeň in the Champions League group stage. The stadium was used for the 2013 UEFA Super Cup. UEFA Stadium Categories
UEFA stadium categories are categories for association football, football stadiums laid out in UEFA's Stadium Infrastructure Regulations. Using these regulations, stadiums are rated as category one, two, three, or four (renamed from elite) in ascending ranking order. These categories replaced the previous method of ranking stadiums on one to five star scale in 2006. A stadium must be rated as category four in order to host games in the playoffs of the qualifying stage for the UEFA Champions League, or any game in the main competition. Category four is also required to host any game in the main competition of the UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League, UEFA Nations League or the UEFA European Championship final tournament. Josef Bican
Josef "Pepi" Bican (25 September 1913 – 12 December 2001) was an Austrian-Czech professional footballer who played as a striker. He is the second-most prolific goalscorer in official matches in recorded history according to Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF), with over 950 goals scored in 624 matches. According to RSSSF, Bican scored over 1813 total goals in over 1089 total matches. In total Bican scored 1137 unofficial goals in more than 514 games for Slavia Praha, with a ratio of 1.79 goals per game across his almost 15-year career at the club in total. Bican began his professional career at Rapid Vienna in 1931. After four years at Rapid, he moved to local rivals Admira Vienna. 2007–08 Czech First League
The 2007–08 Czech First League, known as the Gambrinus liga for sponsorship reasons, was the fifteenth season of Czech Republic's top-tier of football. The season started on 4 August 2007 and concluded on 17 May 2008. Teams Příbram and Slovácko were relegated to the second division after finishing last and second to last, respectively, in the 2006–07 season. Viktoria Žižkov (as champions) and Bohemians 1905 (as runners-up) were promoted from the second division. FK Jablonec () is a Czech professional football club based in Jablonec nad Nisou. The club has played in the top league of Czech football, Czech First League, since 1994. History Jablonec played its first season of top league football in the 1974–75 Czechoslovak First League, remaining in the top league for two seasons before relegation in 1976. Ivo Knoflíček (born 23 February 1962) is a Czech association football, football coach and a former player. He played for the Czechoslovakia national football team, Czechoslovakia national team, for which he played 38 matches and scored seven goals. Jan Suchopárek (born 23 September 1969) is a Czech football coach and former defender, who is head coach of the Czech Republic U21 national team. He played for Czechoslovakia and later the Czech Republic, playing a combined total of 61 international matches, scoring 4 goals. Suchopárek was a participant at UEFA Euro 1996, where the Czech Republic won the silver medal. Patrik Berger
Patrik Berger (; born 10 November 1973) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He started his career in his own country with Slavia Prague and spent a season in Germany playing for Borussia Dortmund. He moved to England in 1996, where he spent seven years with Liverpool, winning four trophies in his time there. This was followed by spells at Portsmouth, Aston Villa and Stoke City. He spent the last two years of his career back in his native Czech Republic playing for Sparta Prague. Internationally, Berger played in two major tournaments for the Czech Republic. Pavel Kuka (born 19 July 1968) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a forward. Born in Prague, Kuka started and finished his career at Slavia Prague, playing with the club from 1989–93 and then from 2000–05. He has also played for 1. FC Kaiserslautern (1994–98), 1. FC Nürnberg (1998–99), and VfB Stuttgart (1999–2000). For the Czech Republic national team, Kuka played 63 times, scoring 22 goals and was part of the runner-up squad at Euro 96 and also took part at Euro 2000. Czech First League
The Czech First League, known as the Fortuna liga for sponsorship reasons, is a Czech professional league for football clubs. At the top of the Czech football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Seasons typically run from August to May, most games are played on Saturdays and Sundays with few games played on Fridays. All Fortuna liga clubs qualify for the Czech Cup.
